Hollyfeld, here. Welcome to the latest (and long-awaited) edition of Look Closer... Yes, I know it's been too long. Well, you're sweet to worry, but everything's fine. Hollyfeld's been a little busy lately is all - I've had a lot of personal business to tend to, I'm writing my new script, I've started a new column, and besides, I've been waiting to do this special double-sized edition of the column.

Written by Drew Morton and Hollyfeld    Men attracted to fat women and disgusted by skinny women. A gibberish speaking exterminator who seduces every woman in the neighborhood. A husband and wife who have trouble communicating speak only in nonsense. A religion whose job isn't to answer all questions, but to question all answers. A dentist that speaks in horrible puns, and an escapee from a mental hospital without any pants. That's not even scratching the surface of Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh's (Out of Sight; sex, lies, and videotape; and Traffic) Schizopolis.

For various reasons everyone is very busy and distracted right now, both with the recent tragedy and our own personal problems (and in some unrelated cases, joys). I hope that all of you can take solace in a good movie when times seem hard. After all, that's what Hollywood is here for right?

After yet another interminably long delay, Look Closer... re-re-premiered a short while ago with a review of Steve Soderbergh's Schizopolis courtesy of TNMC DVD editor Drew Morton. Due to laziness, however, I neglected to write it an introduction, so I fear now that regular readers may have been a little confused. (There... are regular readers, right?) It had always been my intention to let anyone with a movie to recommend use Look Closer... at their leisure, which is part of the reason for the constant delays - I keep hoping that someone will want to participate as well. Luckily, Drew, at least, is a busy little bee, continuing his rather unhealthy obsession with Steven Soderbergh below. Let's applaud his work ethic whilst decrying mine, hm?

Hollyfeld, here, and welcome to the second night of unspeakable horror, which we will attempt to speak of anyway. 31 Days Of Horror continues, courtesy of Look Closer... and TNMC, with one of the more entertaining Slasher films ever made. Actually, I'm pretty excited about today because we're talking about a movie I really groove on and no one else knows, and I don't even like Slashers that much.
